The Brief – Google Maps Tour
Quay Dental, a leading dental practice in Sydney CBD, wanted to enhance its Google Maps profile and improve patient wayfinding. Their digital marketing team, Uppercut Digital, approached us to create a high-end Google Maps Tour as part of their strategy to improve local search visibility and digital engagement. Located on Level 6, Quay Dental wanted to ensure that new and returning patients could quickly identify their street-level entrance while showcasing their modern, welcoming clinic space.
A strong Google Maps presence is critical for businesses in high-density areas like Sydney CBD, where visibility and navigation can directly impact foot traffic and online discoverability. Since Quay Dental is several floors above street level, many potential clients found it challenging to locate the correct entrance. To overcome this, we captured exterior shots on Bridge Street, providing a clear reference point to guide visitors from the street to their clinic.
The Google Maps Tour also serves as a virtual preview of Quay Dental’s high-end practice, showing its commitment to modern dental care, patient comfort, and exceptional service. By integrating this immersive experience into its Google Business Profile, Quay Dental has strengthened its digital presence, making it easier for potential clients to find and book appointments.
What We Loved About This Project
The location of Quay Dental in the heart of Sydney’s bustling CBD made this Sydney project. Typically, capturing a clear and uninterrupted street-level shot in this area can be challenging due to heavy foot traffic and busy roadways. To ensure the best possible image quality, we scheduled the outdoor shoot in the early morning, when the streets were quiet.
A moment of pure luck made this shoot particularly special. Capturing an exterior image like this requires multiple composite photos due to the constant flow of cars and pedestrians. However, when we arrived at Bridge Street, there wasn’t a single vehicle or passerby in sight. This allowed us to take the perfect street-level shot in just one attempt, which rarely happens in Sydney’s CBD.
Sydney can capture Quay Dental’s elegant and calming atmosphere inside the clinic. Every aspect of the practice, from its modern treatment rooms to its welcoming reception area, was designed with patient comfort in mind. The Google Maps Tour successfully highlights these features, giving potential clients an inside look at the clinic’s state-of-the-art facility and allowing them to book an appointment.
