The Brief – Virtual Tour

For their upcoming Autumn Winter Volume 24, the team at DISSH had a vision of creating a 360 virtual experience that would take their customers behind the scenes of a high-end fashion photo shoot. They wanted to share the excitement and glamour of their creative process and the stunning Port Douglas location. As a fashion brand that values design and branding, they also wanted to ensure that the virtual tour matched their style guide and reflected their identity.

To achieve this, they captured two 360 photos: one from the sky and one from the ground. The 360 drone photo would show the breathtaking scenery of Port Douglas, where the photo shoot took place. The 360 ground photo would give a glimpse of what it’s like to be on set, surrounded by models, photographers, stylists, and makeup artists. They wanted to show the details and the hard work of making a photo shoot successful.

What We Loved About This Project

Shooting for DISSH at the stunning Thala Beach Resort in Port Douglas, Queensland, was a unique experience. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was breathtaking. At Simply 360, we usually capture 360 content showcasing a place’s architecture, surroundings and specific features. But this time, the focus was to tell the story of the photoshoot itself. We wanted to capture and share the team’s vibe, energy, and the amazing outfits and accessories from DISSH and the other photography crews on site. It was a unique and exciting project for us.

One of the best parts of this project was working with a fantastic team of professionals who brought their skills and passion to the photo shoot. We collaborated with DISSH, Thala Beach Resort, and other photographers, who were all amazing to collaborate with. DISSH provided us with their vision and style guide, which helped us create a 360 virtual experience that matched their brand identity.

Thala Beach Resort offered their fantastic location and facilities, which gave us the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot. The other photographers joined us on the set, where we captured the behind-the-scenes action and the fun and creative atmosphere. We had a great time working together and sharing our experiences.
