The Brief – Virtual Tour & Google Street View
Del La Salle Catholic College Cronulla approached us to create a 360 virtual tour of their school grounds. The focus was to make the virtual tour user-friendly, easily contactable through the tour across multiple channels as well as keeping in line with branding guidelines. Additionally, this was to showcase to prospective parents. The school utilised our services to create a 360 virtual tour and wanted us to add the tour to Google Maps for a great SEO and map ranking solution. One focus in the design was to make it informative as possible with all relevant contact information and with the click of a button minimise it. The reason for the minimisation was so the viewer could see as much of the school without the interface be in the way as easy as possible.
What We Loved About This Project
The school and students were very involved with the project. Every photo contained a photo of either the students and/or teachers bringing life to the school ground. Even the principal got involved (see the reception area). A fun idea we had was to ‘freeze time‘ to showcase the tennis courts being utilised. If you walk over to the tennis courts in the virtual tour its as though you are in the middle of a live tennis match! It was a great shot!
About The Client
De La Salle College Cronulla is an independent Roman Catholic comprehensive co-educational secondary day school. Located in Cronulla a southern suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1936 by the De La Salle Brothers, the college caters for approximately 470 students in Year 11 and Year 12 from the Sutherland Shire parishes of the Archdiocese of Sydney.
