The Brief – 360 Virtual Tour and Google Street View
The City of Parramatta approached us to create various virtual tours of their facilities, community centres and venue spaces. After other members at Parramatta Council had seen the virtual tour for Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library, other departments wanted to use us for other locations in the municipality. Working with the venue team, we set out and planned the shoot across multiple locations. Following the council’s extensive branding guidelines, we designed a streamlined interface so that all ages can easily access and navigate the various tours. Additionally, we updated many of the floorplans for the council’s website while also integrating them into the tours.
Update: over the course of 2021 to now, Simply 360 has created 18 virtual tours for the City of Parramatta Community Centre.
What We Loved About This Project
Many people do not realise that councils have many services to offer to people in the council area / Local Government Area (LGA). The City of Parramatta is no exception. They have multiple locations on offer for the community, varying in size and features. Travelling throughout Western Sydney to see these locations first-hand gave the team a newfound appreciation of what councils have to give back to the community.
