The Brief – Virtual Tour and Google Maps Tour
Montessori Academy approached us with a clear vision: to create a high-end, custom-branded 360 virtual tour that perfectly aligned with their minimalist brand identity. Understanding the importance of consistency, we meticulously tailored every aspect of the project, from the photography style to the user interface and overall experience, ensuring it seamlessly reflected their aesthetic and values.
We integrated an automated entrance finder to enhance the experience for first-time parents visiting their location. This feature provides clear guidance on where to locate the front door, making the journey as stress-free as possible.
The virtual tour was designed to be compatible with VR headsets, offering an immersive experience for users who wish to explore the space more interactively. Additionally, Montessori Academy added the tour to Google Maps, creating a high-end, SEO-aligned presence that not only elevates their brand but also contributes to improved Google Maps rankings. This strategic move ensures their virtual tour stands out while enhancing their online discoverability and user engagement.
What We Loved About This Project
One of the most delightful surprises of this project was discovering how much bigger the centre feels on the inside. With a full and open play area at its heart, nestled right in the middle of Chatswood, the space has an inviting and expansive atmosphere that instantly captured our attention.
We were also impressed by the centre’s open and clean aesthetic. The minimalist design aligns perfectly with its branding, creating a sense of calm and organisation that reflects the Montessori Academy philosophy.
From a marketing and branding perspective, their attention to detail was outstanding. Every element was thoughtfully branded—even their full-size train, a standout feature in the 360 virtual tour. This seamless branding integration enhances the centre’s identity and adds a unique and memorable touch to the tour.
We especially appreciated the hands-on involvement of the centre’s director, who ensured everything was set up to look picture-perfect. This level of preparation optimised the on-the-day shoot and elevated the final result, making the virtual tour an exceptional representation of the space.
About The Client
Montessori Academy was established to provide families with a high-quality alternative to play-based childcare. The founders were inspired to explore Montessori education while searching for suitable educational childcare for their five children. After discovering a Montessori Kindergarten in Croydon, they were captivated by the approach, which emphasises independent learning through unique educational materials. Recognising the value of the Montessori method, the founders enrolled their children and soon seized the opportunity to purchase the Kindergarten when it was sold, transforming it into the first Montessori Academy.
Over the next five years, they dedicated themselves to learning about Montessori education and building the centre’s reputation. As demand for this innovative education model grew, additional centres were opened. By 2015, Montessori Academy expanded significantly, opening eight new centres in a single year. 2018, the organisation partnered with Greentown China to support growth in Australia and China.
Today, Montessori Academy operates over 50 childcare centres across both countries, managed by an experienced team. In 2023, it launched Montessori Care, which is dedicated to providing in-home aged care and disability services grounded in the Montessori philosophy. The Montessori philosophy empowers individuals to pursue independence, safety, and purpose.
Early Learning Centre – Childcare Chatswood
This preschool and early learning centre cater to children ages six weeks to six years. It provides nutritious meals and ensures safety with a sun-safe, allergy-aware environment and convenient drop-off and pick-up parking. The Chatswood Centre features spacious Montessori classrooms designed for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
