The Brief – 360 Virtual Tour

EVENT Cinemas has created some boutique styled cinemas with various themes. This particular theme is the Library themed cinema. This cinema is designed to feel cosy and in a library. Pay special attention to the walls with the book-themed wallpaper and bespoke surroundings. We were chosen to create the virtual tour as we specialise in low light 360 photography.

What We Loved About This Project

This was a unique experience to create. This single-shot panoramic tour had to capture the essence and feel of the room as though you were there in person. Additionally, as mentioned above, this is a very dimly lit cinema as they are designed for ambient lighting. This really tested our 360 low light photography skills. Also, check out the hotspots and wallpaper in the tour, we think it looks great.

Fun Fact: Our founder Dimitri Cassimatis worked and trained at this very cinema for Entertainment Quarter (previous known as Fox Studios). He told us the memories came flooding back of his time working in the cinema.

About The Client

EVENT Cinemas Boutique draws on the rich heritage of the EVENT-owned State Theatre and the iconic, quirky QT Hotels, to deliver a theatrical, bespoke, design-led cinema experience. An intimate cinema with a boutique vibe. Designer boutique recliners with footrest, service at your seat and the best cinema sound and picture. Guests will have access to the Boutique Cinema 30 minutes before their session. The host will greet guests and take their order directly from their boutique recliner. The Boutique menu has been designed in collaboration with some of the best artisan and local producers, including Sonoma Bakery and Vic’s Meats, to deliver menus that continue to push the boundaries of premium in-cinema dining.
