The Brief – Google Maps Tour
The team at Cathy Stevenson & Associates got in touch with us to update their existing Google Maps tour. The previous tour was starting to feel outdated and didn’t reflect how the office presents today. The aim was to refresh it with a clean and current version that gives a more accurate representation of the space.
The office is located at ground level, which makes access simple, but like most professional services, many clients are visiting for the first time. Because of this, it was important to capture both the interior and the exterior. Having clear street-level imagery alongside the internal walkthrough helps people understand exactly where they are going before they arrive.
We also worked with the team to choose a suitable time to shoot, helping reduce foot traffic and interruptions. This made it easier to capture clean images throughout the space without distractions.
As part of the update, we also removed the previous tour, so everything now sits cleanly under their Google Business Profile.
What We Loved About This Project
This was a smooth project from start to finish. The team was easy to work with and great to coordinate with in the lead-up to the shoot.
Everything was well prepared on arrival, so we were able to get started straight away. There were no delays or issues on site, which made it easy to move through the space and keep the shoot consistent.
Inside, the office feels professional but still welcoming. That balance came through well in the final tour and suits the type of service they provide.
We also liked being able to capture both the interior and the exterior. Showing the full journey from the street into the office makes the tour more useful, especially for new clients who may not be familiar with the area.
Fun Fact: The office is on a busy street, which usually makes getting a clean exterior shot difficult. Most of the time, it takes a few attempts to avoid cars. On this shoot, we managed to get a clean shot early on, which does not happen often.
